to Lis and Peter in Rungsted.
The hardest decision I've made in terms of being a breeder, I had to take in April this year. Nevis was 1 year and was therefore HD photographed on the hips, as we always do. The result was unfortunately in as we had hoped and we chose not to use her in the breeding. But then we needed a new breeding.. Should Nevis stay and “Just” be a hound? and then we should keep one from this year's litter….. then we suddenly had 4 Dogs. All some to be trained and used and especially we would have 2 Puppies – Nevis on 1 year and a puppy on 10 weeks. We had 2 months before met Lis and Peter who came to talk Springer Spaniel. When they entered the house they fell in love with Nevis and wanted to buy her.. But of course we said no.. Now the situation was different and after thinking and thinking and thinking, then the decision was that Nevis moved to Lis and Peter. She feels like “the yolk of an egg”, is moisa free, must be a hunting dog and have “own farm in Sweden”. But …………………. my heart has been torn 1000 Pieces. The first few months we didn't see Nevis, for she should fall right to (and I also could not), but we were in almost daily contact with Lis and Peter. Now I have visited her and she was very happy when she saw me, but she also knew she was going to stay when I left. So all is well but where has it been difficult.
