We always only scan for pregnancy. On the one hand, it is difficult for the veterinarian to “Count correctly” so early, On the one hand, the can absorb some of the puppies and last but not least … We always have bets on, how many puppies come 🙂 Finella was huge, when she was going to have her 1. litter in the 2022. I thought, that there was at least 10 Puppies, because yes the vet said “It's a big litter” 😉 There was 7 Giants. By birth weight, it was the kennel's largest litter. I think it repeats itself. Finella is today 45, So there is about 2,5 week again and she is already visibly fat. I wanted so badly to help her, so she didn't get such big puppies, Because it was pretty hard for her. But I also have to think about, that the puppies should be fed. It's probably just like that, it's with Nulle. After all, no two dogs are the same, and therefore no gestation periods that are the same. As always, we are looking forward <3
